1. hungry howies pizza- i miss that greasy pizza with the butter cheese crust. i wish we had one down here [being pregnant and all] since georgians haven't caught on to the flavored crust i have to settle for papa Johns :(
2. vernors- another wish-i-had-cuz-i'm-preganant-can-only-get-in-Michigan
3. mackinaw- beautiful mackinaw bridge, i would love to be there this labor day. possibly next year though. camping within view of the bridge, waking up in the morning and this being the site you see (give or take a barge or two going through the straits) is extraordinary.
4. halo burger- a huge juicy hamburger sounds so good right now, with a cream ale. mmmm
5. family- not just mine but brandon's family as well, i feel like we are missing out on everything, like the world keeps spinning on up there and its at a stand still down here, weddings, birthdays, friends, and now our baby.
6. frankenmuth- my first stop when i get into town and the last place i have to see before we leave. my sanctuaury.
7. clio - this is my top 10 so I can put clio on here if i want to. there is something so quaint about growing up in a small town, where literally "everybody knows your name". i always wanted to get out of there when i was a "young adult", now i wish to go back.
8. bronners- the MOST WONDERFUL PLACE in the ENTIRE WORLD. i fell in love with bronners as a kid and have never outgrown the infatuation. there is just something that happens when you get out of you car and step into the cold december air and walk up the lot to the doors. it all culminates when you enter the worlds largest christmas store and your eyes get so big, trying to take everything in at once, hearing the christmas music echoing throughout, and remembering when your were a kid and the year seemed so long waiting on santa. magical, the only word used to describe bronners.
9. a&w- what i wouldn't give for a coney, a real coney, not some bowl of chili dumped over a "fake" hotdog.
10. winter snow days-
